Understanding Sharks
Role: Editor, Stitcher
I stitched and cut this 360 video for Discovery, where we wanted to bring an immersive Shark Week experience for fans of the brand on social media. Cutting 360 video requires a two-pronged approach, because you not only have to think about how shots cut together, but also how the viewer will move their head to look around.
Barrett Jackson
Role: Editor
I cut a series of social media videos on the Barrett-Jackson car auction floor for Motortrend, formerly Velocity network. I would get footage from my team shooting, and then I would take all of the raw and turn around finished, polished videos by end of day so that the network could push them to all social media channels as the car show was happening.
Next Protectors
Role: Editor
While working for Discovery, they were constantly trying to find new ways to pitch potential brands and clients how we could partner with them to promote both of the companies in an elegant, interesting way. This is a proof of concept video that was shopped around to show what branded entertainment could look like.
Puppy Bowl
Role: Editor
To gear up for the Puppy Bowl, the Animal Planet team made a series of social media videos of different animal shelter puppies predicting which team would win throughout the entirety of the NFL playoffs. This was to promote both the coming Puppy Bowl, as well as create shareable content for social media users following the Animal Planet brand.
